Invitation to the Geneva International Motor Show

Škoda Auto is going to present the new-generation Superb, including the Superb 3.6 FSI V6 4x4 and the Superb GreenLine at the 78th Geneva International Motor Show.

The official presentation of the new-generation Škoda Superb, the Company's medium class car, is going to take place at the 78th Geneva International Motor Show. With a patented Twindoor system, the new Škoda Superb is a powerful combination of an impressive sedan and a smart liftback.

Reflecting the high quality of workmanship delivered to the entire vehicle, the roomy interior offers a large number of smart solutions, as well as large boot space (565 l/1670 l). Generously sized as it was, the interior of the previous generation has now been extended to make the new Superb become one of the roomiest vehicles of its class. As many as 9 airbags prepared to protect the passengers in both the front and the rear seats in the event of an accident are bringing a new standard of safety. Optional equipment levels include bi-xenon headlamps with AFS, a touch-screen navigation system, a parking assistant able to park the vehicle automatically in a line of stationery cars, and more.

The new Superb comes with the following engines:

Petrol Diesel
1.4 TSI/92 kW       1.9 TDI PD DPF/77 kW, also without DPF 
1.8 TSI/118 kW, also 4x4 and AT    2.0 TDI PD DPF/103 kW, also AT 
3.6 FSI V6/191 kW 4x4 AT  2.0 TDI CR DPF/125 kW, also 4x4 and AT 

The Company's exhibition premieres at the Geneva Motor Show will also include a new Superb with the 3.6 FSI V6 engine (191 kW, 4x4). The Company is going to present its line of environmentally friendly vehicles at the event, including the Fabia GreenLine and the Octavia MultiFuel, as well as the new Superb GreenLine with the 1.9 TDI PD DPF/77 kW engine (CO2 - 136 g/km). Besides the new products mentioned above, Škoda Auto is going to present the innovated Octavia RS fitted with the 2.0 TDI CR DPF/125 kW engine and complete portfolios of the Fabia, Roomster and Octavia vehicles of the 2008 model line.

Škoda Auto's presentation at the Geneva Motor Show will be situated in Hall 2, at position 2160.

Škoda Auto commemorated the 100th anniversary of its subsidiary plant in Vrchlabí this weekend. Last year in September, the plant celebrated one millionth vehicle manufactured after the merger with Volkswagen in 1991.
