The Octavia provides an extraordinary combination of comfort, manoeuvrability, reliability and safety. You can have a liftback or Combi, both in the sporty RS version. The Combi comes in several 4x4 versions. There is a wide range of engines with manual and automatic gearboxes to choose from.

Petrol engines
Every driver has his own style. The more peaceful of us will evidently be satisfied with a 1.4 MPI/59 kW, whereas the more sporty and hot-blooded will reach for an Octavia RS with a 2.0 TFSI/147 kW engine. Others may prefer the 1.6 MPI/75 kW, 1.6 FSI/85 kW, 1.8 TSI/118 kW or 2.0 FSI/110 kW options.
Diesel engines
A wide range is a matter of course here, too. You can choose from 1.9 TDI PD/77 kW and 2.0 TDI PD/103 kW engines, both of which can be chosen with a DPF. The Octavia RS can be fitted with a 125 kW 2.0 TDI DPF turbo diesel engine.
Manual gearboxes
Depending on the engine version, the Octavia is offered as standard with a five-speed (1.4 MPI, 1.6 MPI, 1.6 FSI and 1.9 TDI) or six-speed gearbox (1.8 TSI and 2.0 TDI). The colour of the gear stick will always be perfectly harmonised with the overall design of the interior.
Automatic gearboxes
Thanks to its unique design, the DSG gearbox (for the 1.9 TDI and 2.0 TDI) provides you with easy gear changes without any loss of performance, excellent acceleration and favourable consumption. It can run in fully automatic and manual regimes. There is a classic six-speed automatic gearbox for the 1.6 MPI, 1.6 FSI and 2.0 FSI engines.
