Metal side window covers

The metal covers on the rear side windows protect what is being carried from being viewed from outside, as well as from the sun, and also give the van greater security. In comparison with glass, the metal covers are more resistant and, if the load shifts, there is no danger they will shatter. Plastic elements also provide the rear side doors with increased resistance.

Movable crosswise dividing wall

The movable crosswise black dividing wall (with a mesh in the upper section) prevents goods getting into the space for the driver and passenger. The wall can be shifted up to 10 cm.
Smaller drivers whose seats are further forward can move the wall forward and therefore make maximum use of the luggage space. On the contrary, taller drivers who need more space for driving can shift the dividing wall and their seat deeper into the luggage space.

Driver’s station – comfort and functionality

All control elements in the driver’s space are easily reachable and the instruments offer excellent legibility and clarity. The driver has a good view in all directions. The height and position of the four-arm steering wheel can be adjusted, and power steering is included as a matter of course. You can choose to have a driver’s seat where the height is adjustable, or heating for both seats. The material the seat upholstery is made from is pleasant to the touch, tough, and easy to maintain.

Additional equipment and original accessories

In the Praktik you can have the same degree of comfort as in a car. For example, you can have a ViaMichelin portable navigation device in a holder on the dashboard. When you need, you can easily take it out and use it outside the vehicle. The rich range of original Škoda accessories enables you to fit your car with other practical additions. For example, a net for a first aid kit, practical rubber mats, or a fire extinguisher, which you place under the driver’s seat.

Lengthwise roof rack

The optional lengthwise roof rack serves as the basis for attaching a crosswise roof rack, to which a luggage box and various other items, such as a bike carrier, can be fixed (the maximum allowable load on the roof is 75 kg).

Anti-slip floor with fixing rings

The anti-slip floor surface, together with six fixing rings in the goods space, will ensure that goods and other items you are carrying will always remain fixed stably in place, even on trips full of bends, or during unexpected manoeuvres with the van.

Tilting floor in goods space

The tilting floor in the goods space comprises two tilting parts and one fixed part. The first part of the floor (by the edge of the goods section) can simply by lifted off and hung on the roof; this gives you easy access to the spare wheel. The middle part is fixed. Under the third part of the floor (behind the space for the driver and passenger), after lifting the floor off you will find storage space for tools, a tow bar, etc.

Rear bumper cover

The rear bumper cover with a warning triangle (original Škoda accessories) offers you another safety function, in addition to protecting your bumper during loading and unloading – it draws attention to a van that is standing still from a long way off.

Removable tow bar

The removable tow bar with a permissible vertical load of 50 kg (optional equipment) enables your Praktik to be connected to an unbraked trailer with a weight of 450 kg, or a braked trailer with a weight of 700 kg (1.2 HTP / 51 kW engine), or 900 kg (1.4 / 63 kW and 1.4 TDI /51 kW engines), or even 1,000 kg (1.4 TDI / 59 kW engine), on a maximum rising gradient of 12%.
