Mumbai- June 1, 2010: ŠkodaAuto India, a fully owned subsidiary of SkodaAuto a.s., Czech Republic and one of the most promising automobile companies in India, today announced a sales growth of 30% for the month of May 2010. SkodaAuto India’s total sales for May 2010 stood at 1381 units against 1062 units in May 2009.

ŠkodaAuto India has registered a sales growth of 74% for the period of January to May 2010 as compared to the same period last year. The company sold a total of 8176 units from January to May 2010 as against 4695 units for the same period last year. All the Skoda models including Superb, Laura, Octavia and Fabia have been setting benchmark in their respective segments.
