Thanks to the patented construction of TwinDoor the new Škoda Superb combines the practical advantages of a liftback (hatchback) with the elegance of a saloon car. A unique approach to design has made the new Superb a fascinating vehicle. The spaciousness of the interior and the materials used increase the extraordinary level of comfort during a trip.

The Superb arrives with several new and creative features. For the first time on a Škoda vehicle there is are driver’s knee and rear side airbags (up to 9 airbags in total), parking assistant and Bi-Xenon headlamps with AFS. The new 1.8 TSI/118kW engine gets an all new 7-Speed Automatic DSG transmission which can be controlled using the 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel with paddle shift.

The Emory interior, which combines several materials in ivory colour (fabric, leather and synthetic leather), is an outstanding fitting for the Elegance version. The dashboard comes in a two-colour design (black / ivory) in the light interior.
The Twindoor system

The TwinDoor is a unique system of opening the rear fifth door. It is an original design not available in any other vehicle. If you wish to place smaller items in the boot simply open the boot as you would on a regular saloon type vehicle.

Larger loads don’t pose a problem for loading thanks to the TwinDoor system you can open the rear boot door, including the rear window, as you would with a hatchback vehicle. The volume of luggage space is more than ample at 565 litres. This can increase to an imposing 1,670 litres by folding the backrest of the rear seats.

Yet another feature to relish is the automatic closing boot. No more having to slam shut the boot door. It is enough to let the lid lightly close. It is then fully locked by electrical motors.

Bi-Xenon headlamps with AFS

The headlamps of the new model Superb are an unusual shape compared to other models in the Škoda range, the profile of the lens sweeps all the way to the side of the vehicle. They form a powerfully dominant aggressive feature of the car.
Bi-Xenon headlamps (available on Elegance version) feature outstanding illumination and, combined with the new AFS (Adaptive Frontlight System), increase road visibility and safety. They automatically adapt the lighting to various travel situations by swiveling into bends and changing the illuminated surface of the road depending on cornering and for city, motorway or rain conditions.
