For the first time in the motherland of ice hockey
From May 02nd until May 18th, 2008 it is for the very first time that the IIHF invites the world’s best national teams to crown their champion in the motherland of ice hockey, Canada.
The new Superb in front of TV cameras
Some 700 Million TV viewers and some 400.000 on-site visitors are going to follow the event and they will also witness the worldwide TV premiere of the latest Škoda Superb, as two vehicles are going to be displayed in each of the arenas in Quebec and Halifax.
A fleet of 45 official silver vehicles consisting of Roomster Scouts, Octavias and Octavia Combis including a sports version (RS), will be available to the 2008 World Championship organizers.
