Škoda Auto continues its successful project Fabia Super 2000 by building a team for Czech rally Championship. The official partner of the team is Delimax, a major Czech-based food manufacturer.
All of the three crews of the Škoda Motorsport team managed to get among the first five in the ranking – Juho Hänninen came second, Nicolas Vouilloz third and Jan Kopecký fifth.
The second stage of the Monte Carlo Rally was even more demanding than the previous one and correct tyre choice was decisive.
The first stage of the legendary rally showed why is it regarded as one of the very toughest. The choice of tyres and careful driving were the decisive factors for the overall placing.
The Monte Carlo Rally 2010 started with an 8.83 km long prologue, which took drivers to a height of 1,140m above sea-level and was mostly run on snow and ice.
