It makes no difference whether you choose the liftback or Combi. Both designs are superbly set off by the rear spoilers, for example, which underline the body’s aerodynamic qualities. The exterior is exceptionally helped by the robust front bumper and integrated spoiler, tinted side indicators, and, in particular, 16” light alloy wheels. You can recognise the 1.8T/110 kW engine version by the stainless steel decorative ends on the exhaust, the Combi versions are also coloured with darkened glass in the rear of the car (SunSet).
Sports cars usually have harder seats, heavier steering and, quite frequently, Spartan accessories. However, the Octavia Tour’s sportiness is not at the expense of comfort. The elegant bamboo interior is enhanced by front seats with marked side support for the body and height-adjustment options, the three-arm steering wheel is covered with real leather, the same as the gear stick’s head and sleeve and the hand brake. Woven mats lie on the floor. Everything is tastefully harmonised.
Models equipped with the sports packet can be ordered in red Corrida, silver Diamant or black Magic with pearl effect.
