has a long tradition

We have been the official main sponsor of IIHF World Championships since 1993 and we will carry on until 2011, at least. This partnership is the longest in the history of world sports championships.

ŠKODA vehicles in the centre of attention
For this significant event in the world of ice hockey we provide an official fleet of ŠKODA cars, which the organisers use to transport people during the championships. We display our cars during matches in the corners of the stadiums, the centre circle for face-offs bears the company’s logo and the boards also carry ŠKODA advertising.

In its home environment, the ŠKODA brand is linked as the main partner with the Czech national ice hockey team and the extraliga.
