Museum

It has now been more than a century since Messrs. Laurin and Klement began selling their first car model.

Join us for an exciting journey through the history of one of the oldest automobile factories in the world.

In our museum, you will see the most important models ever to pass through the gates of the ŠKODA factories, ranging from the oldest Laurin & Klement Voiturette or the famous interwar period Rapid and Popular models through to the luxurious eight-cylinder Superb limousines and on to the most interesting models from the era of rear-mounted engines, such as the rare 1100 MBX coupe, and finally modern vehicles from the present and the recent past.
Mass produced vehicles represent only part of what the ŠKODA Museum has to offer. Fans of motorsport can find the legendary Škoda 130RS and 200RS competition specials and their successfully celebrated successor the 130LR, but also more modern vehicles such as the Felicia Kit Car, the Octavia WRC and of course the current representative of the ŠKODA brand in competitions across the world, the Fabia S2000.

Many of you, however, will be far more interested in peeking behind the scenes at R&D and viewing the prototypes and studies of cars which were never produced. Among the most interesting is the mid-class 720 sedan designed in the seventies and featuring a front-mounted engine and rear-wheel drive. Movie buffs will remember the Škoda 110 Supersport made famous by the film “Upír z Feratu” (“Ferat Vampire”) and seekers of rarities must be sure not to miss the recent concepts from showrooms across the world, such as the Tudor coupe or the first Yeti and Roomster concept models.
