In the category “Off-road vehicles and SUVs under € 25,000”, the Yeti received 22.8 per cent of the votes, clearly outranking the Hyundai ix35 (17.2 per cent) and Subaru Forester (14.6 per cent). In the category “All-wheel drive car of the year from € 25,000 to € 40,000”, the Superb 4x4 was the winning importer.

A total of 116,336 readers of Europe’s top-selling all-wheel drive car magazine chose their favourites from 138 vehicle models in ten categories. As a compact SUV, the Yeti unites the virtues that till now could only be offered by completely different segments of cars, and not by one single car. Its handling and comfort level do not fall short of that of a large-sized family car, yet its off-road capabilities are unrestricted. The Yeti offers above-average passenger room, a large amount of luggage space and, last but not least, an impressive towing capacity.

Superb has a long history with Škoda. The name of the flagship of the Škoda fleet recalls its successful predecessor from 1934.
