Terms and Conditions
The warranty period begins on the date the vehicle is delivered to either the original purchaser or original lessee
• The new vehicle warranty is automatically transferred, without cost, if the ownership of the vehicle changes within warranty period.
• In respect of repairs performed or parts fitted under the warranty, the warranty on the same ends once the warranty for the relevant vehicle is expired.
• Owner has the right & obligation to bring his vehicle to the authorized SKODA dealership during the maintenance as stated in the service schedule booklet.
• Incase of defect/problem observed in his car, customer should immediately report to the nearest dealer. If customer does not respect and uses the car and increases the quantum of damage, his entitlement to the warranty may be restricted or optionally relinquished.
• Your dealer may deny warranty unless you present to the dealer proof in the form of service or repair orders that periodic maintenance is being performed timely. Please ensure authorized dealers certify the work on the service record page in the service schedule booklet. Present the service schedule booklet to the authorized dealer while requesting for warranty service.
• If you change your address, please complete one of the post cards which is in end of the service booklet.
• When owner changes his residence from one location to another he is entitled to avail warranty service from any authorized SKODA Dealer.
• The benefit of warranty can also availed by the second purchaser during the warranty period.
• If owner’s manual, service schedule / warranty booklet gets lost or is destroyed, the car owner should approach the SKODA dealer, from whom the car was purchased, for issuance of a second copy owner’s manual, service schedule booklet/warranty booklet.
• For claiming parts warranty, customer needs to present the part invoice to authorized dealer.
• Pickup & house delivery facility is not our obligation; it is the sole discretion of the dealer depending upon the availability of the required resources at that moment.
• In rare occasion if our dealer technical team or SKODA Auto engineers want to inspect/repair the car at the customer's premise, we request co-operation from the customer.
