ŠKODA Auto is implementing long-term programs to minimise the consequences of its activities on the environment. One of the priorities is to maintain a balance between economic, environmental and social aspects; such balance is a fundamental condition for sustainable development.

Service and ecology

ŠKODA Auto does not just confine its environmental activities to its products and production facilities. An integral part of the concept is centred on encouraging our dealers to have a positive and caring attitude to the environment.

Our dealers employ waste disposal services that specialise in the area of waste management, protection of water, air pollution and treatment of dangerous substances.

Our dealers ensure that collection of waste products such as batteries, tyres and oil is done so in accordance with all legislative requirements. When a ŠKODA vehicle reaches the end of its lifecycle we have a network of disposal centres that dismantle and recycle the various vehicle components.
