World’s biggest motorshows represent an opportunity to get to know the latest news and most important trends in the automotive industry. And of course, the newest ŠKODA concept cars and production models can’t be missing from their show floors.

Auto-expo 2012 January 5 – 11, 2012 The market of the most populous country in the world is hugely important for the ŠKODA brand and this year’s Auto Expo in New Delhi was the venue to introduce the ŠKODA Rapid compact saloon. In the following years, we want to keep growing and reinforce our position in the Indian market.
82nd International Motor Show Geneva March 6 – 18, 2012 Like the Paris motorshow, the Geneva ranks among the oldest and most respected events in the automotive industry. On the shores of Geneva Lake, in the shade of Swiss Alps, the latest trends of automotive design and technology are presented each year.
Auto China 2012 April 23 – May 2, 2012 Focus on the developing marketing in the southeast Asia is the key part of the ŠKODA Growth Strategy. That’s why we pay great attention not only to the big European motorshows, but also to the ever growing events in this region, like the Beijing motorshow.
Ice Hockey World Championship May 4 - 20, 2012 Traditionally, the ŠKODA AUTO company is the partner of biggest hockey championship in the world – Ice Hockey World Championship, which is held by Sweden and Finland this year. National hockey teams from all over the world will come to Scandinavia and the best of them all will become the world champion for the next year.
Giro d‘Italia May 5 - 27, 2012 Another big name among the road bicycle races was born in 1908 and this year it will be for the 95th time the racers will start on its stages. This time, the start will be held unusually in the Danish town of Herning, with the first three stages taking place in the Denmark. After that, the whole peloton will transfer to Verona by plane, to run the rest of the 3476km long race on the Italian roads.
Tour de France June 30 - July 22, 2012 The famous Tour de France is one of the most glorious bicycle races in Europe and racers from all over the world are coming to its start regularly since 1903. This year’s race starts on 30th June in the Belgian town of Liége and 3479km route, divided into 20 stages, will lead the racers to the traditional finish on the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
2012 Mondial de l’Automobile September 27 – October 14, 2012 The oldest motorshow in the world is held in Paris for more than a century now, since 1898. Until the 1976 it was an annual event, nowadays it’s held every two years. Paris motorshow is traditionally one of the places were the world’s car makers present their latest news.
